The Center TRT reviews evidence for policy and environmental change interventions aimed at impacting physical activity and healthy eating. In an effort to increase the quantity and quality of evidence from practice, the Center TRT, in collaboration with the CDC DNPAO, developed a framework for evaluation. The framework is intended to be simple enough to make its use feasible in practice-settings, yet thorough enough to provide acceptable evidence of the effect of the policy or environmental change intervention on targeted outcomes.
